There were seven of us when the dare began. Only two walked out.
Judd Trail. The dare was to go armed with cameras and digital recorders so we could document a table tipping seance in the densest part of the canopy. It would have to be at four in the morning once everything was set up and ready to go. Three persons sat around a makeshift poker table on their beach chairs while four others videotaped, ran sound, and took pictures. Not one of us got to utter the words, "Show us a sign if you're here." The table began to move around and float as if manipulated by unseen hands. Simultaneously, there was a very pronounced knocking sound on the surface of the poker table while it moved about at free will. It was when the table was flung off into the pitched black when we heard it crash somewhere. Everyone directed their flashlights toward the sound where they last heard it. In a second we all stood there horrified. We saw that the poker table was bent and twisted around the trunk of a young albizia tree. Seven of us ran for our lives. Only two walked out. I hope they warn others not to be so foolish as to do what we did. We are still running for our lives.
