Hawaii is an ancient place. So many people have lived - and died - here. With such a rich, cultural history, chances are that, in our small community, at least one person in nearly every household has had some kind of supernatural "chicken skin" occurrence. Welcome to Ghosts Next Door, a collection of ghost stories and other thoughts about and around the Mysteries of Hawaii.

100 Ghost Stories Counting Down To Halloween! 56 Nights Left! "Tracy's POV"
Tracy’s parents were in the kitchen when they heard a blood curdling scream. Tracy came running down the stairs in hysterics with her cell phone in her hand.
"Look! Look!" She screamed.
It was a recording of herself sleeping in her own bed; the camera panned to a dark form standing next to her lamp. A grotesquely burnt hand yanks on a cord and turns the lamp on. Even with the room well lit, the form is still dark and without detail. It lays in the bed next to her and places it’s arm around her waist,
“I’ll never leave you,” he whispers.
Tracy’s older brother Kyle walks into the kitchen with an arm load of Spanish rolls and pastries,
“Oh my god,” he says quietly.
Tracy slowly fades into nothing.
Her parents and her brother hug one another; all they can do is cry.
Tracy was found dead in her bedroom five years ago; there was no sign of foul play or suicide. It was ruled as an unattended death. The strange thing is that no one could find
her cell phone until a year later when her parents heard a horrific scream and saw Tracy’s ghost appear in the kitchen.
Every year they must view the otherworldly video that might explain their daughter’s demise, but really, who would believe that a ghost had a video POV of it’s own death?
